Over the years, I’ve had the joy of sitting with thousands of generous women—listening to their stories, celebrating their bold first gifts, hearing about the causes that stir their hearts, and dreaming with them about Kingdom impact. These conversations aren’t just inspiring; they’ve shaped everything we do at Women Doing Well.

But here’s what keeps me up at night: as powerful as individual stories are, we need to hear from all of you. We need the whole chorus. That’s exactly why we created the Women, Wealth & Faith Research Study.

A Moment We Can’t Miss

The numbers are staggering. Women now control more than half of the wealth in the United States—and by 2030, that number will climb to 70%. Billions of dollars are moving into women’s hands. The opportunity to understand and support women in their generosity has never been greater.

Women Doing Well launched from groundbreaking research conducted in 2012. That research opened doors and started conversations that changed lives. But that was thirteen years ago. The world has changed. Women’s lives have changed. The challenges we face, the questions we’re asking, and the opportunities before us have all evolved.

It’s time for fresh insight. It’s time to listen again.

Why This Research Matters

Our Women, Wealth & Faith Research Study—conducted in partnership with the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at Indiana University’s Lilly School of Philanthropy—isn’t just another survey. This is a watershed moment for Christian women and generosity.

This research will uncover the real story: How are women giving today? What truly motivates us? What challenges are we facing? What opportunities are we missing?

The findings will do three crucial things:

Shape what we build. Programs and resources that actually reflect what women need right now, not what we assume they need.

Transform how women are served. Churches, ministries, and organizations will finally understand the unique and beautiful ways women approach generosity—and how to come alongside us well.

Shift the conversation everywhere. From nonprofits to family offices to financial institutions, this research will highlight where women are thriving and where we’re still being overlooked.

When Women Speak, the World Listens

This survey isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about asking the right questions and truly listening to your answers.

Whether you’ve been giving generously for decades or you’re just beginning to explore what generosity looks like for you… whether you’re figuring out how to pass on values of giving to your children or navigating a major wealth transition… whether you’re confident in your giving or still finding your way—your voice matters.

You have something to say that needs to be heard.

Your Invitation

I’m inviting you to be part of something historic.

Take the Women, Wealth & Faith survey. Then share it with every generous woman in your network—your friends, your daughters, your mentors, the women in your small group or book club.

Help the nation understand how to better support Christian women in living and giving with Kingdom purpose.

When you participate, you’re not just filling out a survey. You’re shaping the future. You’re telling researchers, ministry leaders, and financial advisors: This is who we are. This is what we need. This is what generosity looks like for women of faith.

Ready to add your voice?

Take the survey here: https://womendoingwell.org/events/women-wealth-and-faith-survey/

Share it widely. Post it on social media. Forward it to your sister, your neighbor, your financial advisor. Let’s make sure every generous woman has a chance to be heard.

Together, we’re not just collecting data. We’re writing the next chapter of Christian women’s generosity. And it starts with your voice.

Let’s do this—together.
