What Our Children Can Teach Us About Generosity

During her visit to Zambia, HOPE International’s Alisa Hoober was accompanied by her three young daughters. Although she had previously encountered poverty, seeing it through her children’s eyes altered her viewpoint. Their pure curiosity and genuine compassion highlighted the true meaning of generosity—forming heartfelt connections and showing sincere empathy. This experience taught her that generosity transcends material gifts, embodying love and kindness.
